so things that really stood out:
-you back up a lot during pressure and neutral, so if you saw me going for random sweeps or jab xx c.lk xx jab xx DP it's because i knew you would keep backing up instead of blocking
-you challenged oki very often, which is ok but it really depends on how often your opponent has shown you that they won't miss their oki timely. this is really risky but can be game changing if you're willing to the the risk, and in some situations where you would lose without taking the risk, you go for it. same can be said for jumping out the corner.
-speaking of corner, yeah this is where you would typically try to jab your way out which is risky, especially for how bad ed's jabs are you. you're better off hoping that you catch the opponent moving forward with s.mk (which you did) or jumping out when the opponent is approaching you or you notice they're going for committal buttons or options (fireball, s.hp, s.hk).
-sometimes you gotta threaten pressure with fireball and flicker because they're really strong options. the fear of jump-ins is waranted, but because you're on modern you should be able to get yourself out of a situation on reaction. if you get jumped-in on, then it was already too late so you might as well go for it.
-you sometimes pressed buttons when you were surely negative, but that just comes down to frame data and knowing when you probably shouldn't. sometimes you have to call out fake pressure from your opponent, like me going DR > jab, jab, c.mk is typically fake. but the reason i was able to go for it is because i knew you'd back up
otherwise i think your offense was solid, i think the biggest thing was since you were constant backing up i knew you were hoping for a whiff punish instead of applying pressure on me to keep me out or have me guessing
