It might be a little weird to try to compare a anime game with street fighter but it’s the some sort of character that might have a similar playstyle of moveset to Millia in street fighter?

Since air movement isn’t really a thing in SF, you’re not gonna find a total equivalent

She can set up mix ups pretty well with VS2 and her VTs

But other than that, and maybe a mild connection between ex Kunai and hairpin, I don’t see the connection

Finding a movement equivalent would be hard, closest to it would probably be rashid like houseman said, he has a lot of air options

However another core aspect of milia is her "vortex"

her looping mixup that leads into itself

If you enjoy that, you can find that type of gameplay in many grapplers, R.Mika for example is fairly mobile for a grappler and can loop pressure with either a meaty command grab or meaty f.hp

There are many grapplers in this game, maybe theyre what you're looking for.

I wasn’t actually looking for a grappler in this game but because the pacing in this game is very different from gg I could give it a try

Pretty much every ibuki main that went over to play strive ended up maining Millia

Unlike millia who can get a disc mixup every knockdown ibuki only gets that once a round

I then to go for these rushdow/setplay characters or for some weird reason I end up playing characters that struggle a lot in neutral or kinda “low tier”. Idk it’s kinda like a curse haha

Well i picked ibuki because when i started playing she was a top tier

#

But then they nerfed her like a month after i started playing and then they added vshift which massively weakened her mixup/setplay game

#

I ended up learning cammy, kolin, and luke since then

#

And of course after i got comfortable on cammy they nerfed cammy

#

And when i got comfortable on kolin they nerfed kolin

#

At least they cant hurt my luke now that sf6 is coming out

I was a celestial millia and I really enjoy ibuki for the mix ups and her command dash that sends you into the air

If you’re looking for good neutral with optional mix, KOLIN looks like millia and has huge buttons. Some mix ups with v trigger activate too

Tbh for some reason I’ve been trying to click with Kolin cuz she looks cool and I like her setup but for some weird reason I’m finding the parabellum like “weak” in term of like visual. Like it looks cool but it doesn’t give me that feeling that I’m actually going some damage, like there’s no big impact to it. Idk if u guys understand what I’m trying to say…

But besides all of that she seems like a character that could fit me cuz she has most of the tools that I’m looking for, plus she has a counter which is really cool

I got my cammy account to plat lol. I like ibuki more because of her set play and you can lab her and make your own setups with vt1 as well as she has a high skill ceiling. KOLIN with her parabellum is relatively weak but you can do different endings to get resets and such. KOLIN is mostly a footsies based character so she’s strong because of her pokes in neutral being insane with shp crush counter combos

Cammy feels very one dimensional to me. She’s really fun to play and if I was trying to compete I’d probably main her or KOLIN over ibuki, but I’m playing for fun.

I’m honestly just sick and tired of this character crisis and really want to get over it and have fun with this game😭

But it kinda sums up to having Cammy as a main and checking Menat, Falke, Sakura and Lucia for pocket characters

Yeah I guess I’ll just do some casual mashing and switch from character to character

Although it slightly frustrates me that I keep on switching and never stick with one

Millia enjoyer peaked celestial here try some laura, she ticks a lot of the same boxes for me in terms for vortex and being able to kill your opponents for a single mistake

less so on the movement front but like someone said earlier the only thing even getting close is vs2 rashid
