yeah it was paint (if you can tell from the low textures, notably on some edited around the face), and krita with my sister's drawing tablet

funnily enough yes, though very rarely

only for some really stupid, random tiny details

although

the gradient at the back was generated from a site

then i had to take out the fox

use an image overlayer that i use for my skins too

and thats mostly it

you arent the first person to think it looks or feels weird so i dont blame your reasoning

the main thing making it feel weird is the wings, they just look too inconsistent

yeah i thought that a little too when i first did them, but i thought itd look even worse with pixel perfect wings

and it did

yet i still wanted to partially keep at least somewhat of a minecraft aspect

so thats what i went with

some of the flowers are pixels but others aren't, and the branches have lines that are def for making it look like pixels but they're only there sometimes and they go off the branches and some of them are randomly rotated

that's all just throwing me off so bad

i think i only did that bc my only reference image was the one before the bundle released, if i had a normal image after seeing it ingame, i think it wouldve turned out way different

by downgrading you mean making a large skin into a smaller one? the best way to do that is have the larger one open as a ref, large skins look pretty terrible downsized bc of all the blurring
