how does range in this mode work

like sometimes I fight an opponent and my projectiles despawn before they land but theirs just hit me? Like I know the bow makes more range but that's not it

we be throwing stuff and the range is random

yeah case in point on 2 different points of me match me and this other guy had our bows drawn at each other and my egg despawned but his hit

Usually when that happens you're aiming too low, try aiming slightly higher and you'll know if you're overshooting

And when using the bow id stay further back so you dont get hit by egg spammers
