not a groundwars grinder. but there's 2 ways to get a lot of kills:
-spam eggs as fast as u can, hope you get lucky, and just go around for any egg refill power-ups (i average 18-30 kills doing this)
-actually take time to aim and properly use the eggs that you get instead of just mindlessly spamming...this is often more consistent and less relies on the rng of power-up spawns

The problem with increasing the xp now is that a lot of people have already spent a ton of time maxing gw with the current xp system, and I doubt they’d be happy if it changed and the amount of work they put into maxing it was pointless

but then you just have more and more people over time hating the leveling system and gamemode, so it would be better off increasing the xp you get

Well that’s the other thing, at least in my opinion, I think the xp is totally fine. No one really complains about games like mm, even though it’s way harder to level up in mm than it is in ground wars. People are just comparing ground wars to the other arcade games, which are, if anything, too easy to max, and that’s why everyone thinks the ground wars xp system is bad

groundwars and bridge XP is bad, MM is reasonable because it has lvl 100...groundwars and bridge have 20 lvls and still take forever to max, if they put the modes to lvl 100 it'd be 10x longer to max then MM is

I’m not gonna bother to fact check that, but what I will say is that ground wars doesn’t have 100 levels. Xp systems don’t need to be the same across games because the games have different ways to gain xp and level up. I don’t like to rank the xp systems based on what level you max at, I rank them based on how long it takes to max, and if you ask me, ground wars takes a perfect amount of time to max. For a casual player, you can’t max instantly, it takes actual effort, but it’s still easy enough that you can max it in about a week if you are really trying

currently. yes, maxing it is perfectly fine...but almost all modes on hive have had lvl increases added to them, or with tw prestiges so you max multiple times. it's safe to assume that'll also apply to arcade modes with time and if groundwars has even just level 50 it'll be literal pain because of the current XP system

it seems like a better option to make XP so early lvls take little time to max so once more levels are added it's not going to torture anyone who just wants a single cosmetic from a specific level

like, look at HnS- it usually has a similar player count and it went from lvl 20 to 50

block drop honestly has a fair balanced with XP, you get a decent bit of XP but don't need to hard grind it to get significant amounts of XP

then bridge and ground either need an XP rework or to stay at lvl 20. adding more lvls to those 2 modes would be pain

yeah i agree completely, i mean tbh i’m not really good at pvp at all but i leveled up in ctf faster than any other game mode besides block drop but yeah tbh i like ground wars, it’s fun to me, i don’t mind playing it, it’s up to the team to decide how they plan on doing anything or if they are doing anything at the end of the day
