The skin tone looks really off because it's really pale and the darker shade is very red. And you should try to make the different shades noticeable because you can barely see the 3 shades on the black. Also darken the light gray slightly. And also the skin isn't really hive style. I just find the pants are hive style. Overall it's a really nice skin and i also like the sweater design. Well done.

How do u get those smooth colors?

i believe it's mainly abt the shading, and just finding a good color palette through the selector in general (the satisfying shading may be because of the technique that they used (instead of shading by just darkening the color, they can adjust the color selector to be slightly warmer/cooler to create a cleaner look)

tldr: find a color, shade it with a warmer/cooler neighboring shade
