yeah they change stuff on a scoreboard when a counter reaches a certain level. it also causes a message to be displayed, so if i used conditionals, the counter could reach, say, 45, and it would start repeatedly going (thing) reached 45! over and over and over lol

with my repeat to impulse, it only activates the redstone and turns it off which prevents looping
