The transitions weren't very necessary though, just the stone and a small fade to dirt would've given more time to add random things on the top like a house and other details

When your doing people spam click the legs, the thighs are the biggest part, have your person do a position (it's easier than you think) for the eyes DONT do Minecraft eyes, use skulls or banners

If you need to do a quick guy, you can make the legs 2 straight lines, the body is 3x1 the arms the same as the legs and the head is 3x3

You can't meet every standard in jb, the best you can do is to try and meet the most possible
Usually that entails a big build, but not necessary a perfectionist level of detail

Also I thought small builds were unusual in solos until I played speed builders on mineplex, some people are very slow lol

what? sure you can report it. You just need to change the reason. An alligator has absolutely nothing to due with the theme snake, besides that they're both reptiles, but reptiles wasn't the theme now was it? This is what you would call an off-topic build and you can report those by changing the reason here in reports.
