like, take off the 4 top corners of the box

also the shell houses the WHOLE body not just a section of it, so u have waaaay more body then I'd have added

afaik the snail's neck starts right after the shell so once the shell ends u have like 3 blocks of thickness and then the head should be off the ground

also if u wanted to use a wood to curve it more trapdoors on the sides are nice and then slabs on the top if u really want to

And I also think you could use light green and dark green carpet to make the goo. It would give a more colorful detail to the construction.
