Why does the hive not make it possible to dig one block into the selected floor? Just build is very good except for a couple things. Digging into the floor, not being able to place animals, and not being able to flip iron trapdoors. As a random question would anyone disagree with having these implemented into #👷・build-battle

it would be nice to be able to dig into the floor and flip iron trapdoors...but adding animals is something i wouldn't really want...almost every 9 year old that plays would just spawn the animal and afk the rest of the game, some people would be idiotic, and spam animals causing lag for everyone on low end devices, and it just takes the creativity out of building the animals on some topics

Im not saying its impossible, but i think that more of your time and energy can be put into the actual build in zoo and farm, for example. I completely agree that u can make the build look good and get a decent score, and I often win these builds. However, id rather spend time making a fancy terrain that the animals are on then the actualy animal itself. But as I said before, you dont have to use the animals if you do not want to. If you think it wont get you a good score, you do you. I just think it would make the build more about "Zoo" then about the animals in the zoo.

the feature just seems like something that would cause more problems from some of the trolls and 9 year olds and cause a lot of problems when just building unless hive makes the animals stuck where they're spawned (if the animals can move around they'd get in the way when building and lots of people are stupid enough to spawn them right at the beginning)

That's not really how it works. For being first, second, or third, you get 15, 10, or 5 XP, which really proves to be the fastest way to level up. Also, trolls can't really interfere with that (unless their friend is in the game), as everybody is receiving the same voting points for them. And if somebody is the troll's friend, then they are likely bad at building and will probably not get on the podium. Ending note: if there are "trolls" in the game and vote you meh, you still get 0.5 XP for it, and 1 point in the voting system.

with a 50% booster, getting second place would be worth the same amount as getting first place, and with hive plus it would bring it up to 20 exp for 2nd place. im assuming that you have the 10% lr streak and stuff like that. so its not the singular way to get it, but either way ur probably not gonna get first every game due to the rigged voting system. so the ultimately fastest way is to get good at building (learn techniques like gradients and block mixture, as well as circles and spheres). Also, to add on to this, you can get more xp from second than from first without any sort of booster shenanigans, as the points you get during the voting corresponds to how much xp you get, and it is totally possible to get the 15 xp you missed out from getting first place. first place is still the best option though lol. hope this helped it took me 10 years to type
