Just build is so bad even with the extend time. All I ever see is terrible players building pixel art because they arent creative enough for anything else. It is honestly so annoying to see the same builds and themes over and over again. What is anyone supposed to do for bbq?

i personally believe you’re wrong. i think it’s creative enough to create pixel art because they still took the time and thought as well as the effort to actually create the pixel art. art is subjective there’s no such thing as a terrible player (unless the build itself is inappropriate!), and bbq is a pretty interesting topic that causes payers to think on what to build. if the extended time isn’t good enough for you maybe YOURE a terrible player 🙄

i would like to take a neutral stance and declare myself the rightful median of this intellectual discussion. i would like to propose my thesis on this situation, it has come to my understanding that build battle is not a BAD game-mode but also not a good game-mode either. the game-mode itself does get quite boring after a while as the themes the game gives can be pretty dull and lack the creativity that art should be about. but it is also a good game-mode for the first number of times you play it as it lets you let out your creativity and imagination in a game of competition to see who builds the best.

the reach is about 12 blocks

the blocks are broken on your screen but on other ppl's screens the blocks are still there

so it looks like u r stuck in the wall for other people

if u tap the block it appears

even without the correct block (and ur fist)

and when its voting time the blocks u broke will be placed back

u can escape ur build area if there are blocks broken to the outside while u wait for voting to start

when its build time u get teleported back

u can make a loop if u break the blocks under where u get tped

other devices can't do this

this is not useful in anyway

Yeah... Just Build is lowkey rigged. It's voting, at least.
You make an inappropriate build? All the immature vote love, all the mature report or don't vote.
You build something stupid? Half the time you get good votes.
You build something off theme? Sometimes you get good votes.
You build something that other people ended up building(for example, chimney, many people build a house)? Everyone who built the same thing votes meh, and all the other builds that look similar end up getting voted meh.
You don't finish but got a lot done? Mostly get mehs.
You put a lot of effort into a build that looks good and follows the theme? Some people vote meh, some people vote fairly.
Still end up losing to a build that was effortless/off-topic/inappropriate.

This isn't the Hive team's fault tho. It's the salty, immature players. I personally try to vote as fairly as possible based off of my opinion on the builds, but I've seen people vote bad ratings so theirs win or vote love on inappropriate builds. The best you can do is report builds and vote meh or don't vote at all(it still gives points) and play the game and enjoy it for yourself.

Yeah, I've caught on to that a lot. The report system is helpful tho. I have seen one person get kicked for inappropriate building so it does work. I don't see as many inappropriate builds as I would expect so that works out. It's sad to know how immature and inappropriate younger kids can be 😔

Every time I build something good can end in 3 ways:
From things that happen more often to rare.

1. Someone builds a pe##s or a black kid with first variant (wins in around 60% of games of JB I play)
2. Someone builds something bad that you could make in 1 minute but not 5 minutes and votes everyone "Meh" to win (around 30% of games).
3. I win, very rare because of 1diots (around 10% of games).

Also trolls that vote good builds bad and votes bad builds with "Love"

If everything was fair I would play it more but this mode is flooded with idiots
