i think the pickaxe shape couldve been a bit better and just texturing in general: blocks made of ores generally dont look good except from copper and coal on their own

i also recommend putting more effort into the theme itself rather than the environment (the stone mountain for example) since people are more likely to look at the theme rather than everything else; the stone mountain is good but if it was a bit shorter i think you wouldve had more time to build the pickaxe

SOME builds have blocks that are easiest to place first in your first slots but most of them are random it seems

the hotbar never changes-it has the same pattern of blocks every time
for example: if flag came up it would be red concrete in the first slot, wool in the second, fences in the third, and the slab in the 4th. I don't know if that's the actual pattern they come in since I don't remember, but just for visualization.

and that would stay the same every time flag came up again

so yes, if the first block you had to place in this scenario was fences, you would switch to your third hotbar slot before the round began to immediately begin placing blocks.
