I love the way it turned out bro it looks sick - what I would suggest is to texture it with some would planks, or blocks a similar color and maybe focus more on shaping instead of size :)) it look great tho

Yeah ofc! For the shape, I’d try to make the top pancake a bit more rounded but then again I suck at shaping. What @raw star has taught me is to make an outline first, then fill it in which has helped tons. Ik that’s a commonly known think but it really does help. Experiment using blocks like wood, planks, genuinely anything that looks nice and fits in the pallet.

if you struggle with palettes, then try to at least have 1 or 2 highlight blocks and focus on that first. one for shading and one for lighting
imagine where you want light to be coming from on your build, the side, the top, or a different angle. wherever your light is pointing, make highlight blocks there. on the opposite side of that, make shading blocks. small details that change the entire thing. also, your pancakes are correct shaped, dont worry
heres an example: one with and without highlights and shading.

you just have to try and spam like 40 of them and there's 2 techniques you can use

You can just try to fill outwards and then curve back inwards

Or you can make an outline before you start filling so the main shape is fixable

Tbh this was my first time playing Hypixle

i have friends who have told me in the past it used to be overflowing like pro mode would be packed and not take 10 minutes to even get 2 players
and that there were thousands on and not 300 in regular games
i cant play pro mode because it takes too long to fill

the playerbase has just gotten older

so everyone who used to play is mostly busy now and there is less new players coming in since now we have bedrock and most kids dont have personal computers from the get-go so when they are finally are old enough to play java they stick with bedrock cause that's just how they've always played.

most people start on nintendo switch or xbox now so they learn all of minecraft on there and kbm alone is a massive switch, let alone java.
