While in-game they may not immediately be banned, within a few hours they'll be gone for 4 weeks. honestly i think that as long as you build good your winrate doesnt matter, you have to build bad stuff to get good in the first place and it's super luck based.
leaderboard players who dont requeue at all usually have a 60-80 winrate, way different from sweats in pvp games because it's just not the same.

Butterfly clicking I think, gets you like 8CPS - 12CPS so it's a lot of that. That's also why there are some messy edges in the builds. They tend to work out well, only if finished

the issue is not that you arent growing its that you are unintentionally comparing yourself to the very best
ixploworl is #7 and shortspacebar is #12, they have been posting here a lot so that's mainly what you are seeing. both of them have 2,500+ wins, they aren't naturally talented beginners they have been playing this for years.
you don't start to see big growth like that until 500-1000 games/wins even if you try your hardest, and you are going to want to try adding and playing with anyone good at build battle you can find since it will help you get better faster.

I quit for almost a whole year and then suddenly had motivation again, if you don't want to build now it doesn't mean you wont want to forever.

sometimes taking a break can change your perspective on things, and if it doesn't then it's good you stopped doing something you don't want to do.

i'm way more fine with that than I used to be, I would actively try and look around the lobby to see if anyone else had the report button in their hand but now that a single person reporting gets them banned it doesnt matter in the long run.

well to my knowledge before they changed the way the system works I believe it was something like enough reports will get them banned by a bot but it had to be a certain amount or you could report them through this discord and they'd be banned for a good while.
this is just a complete guess so take it with a grain of salt, they don't elaborate on how it used to work.

but now if they end up building inappropriately it works a little different, if many people report at once it will still kick them automatically but if not within a few hours they will be banned for quite a while and you'll get QP. It doesn't really matter in the end if they get to have a haha moment in a lobby and then get banned for a month.

the consequences are far worse than the experience they had with it, and if it's a repeat offense normally that means a longer ban. They also say depending on how inappropriate the build actually is they will be banned for longer.
