The support team look into appeals. Moderators mainly look into reports and dealing with rule breakers. Helpers mainly deal with community questions.

Because the community is mad about something doesn’t mean the moderation team can fix it. For example, we cannot improve the anticheat. We cannot implement ingame reporting. That’s up to the developers and the Hive Team. Similarly, we cannot deal with appeals as it’s not our job

It’s not something that needs to be elevated. The player can appeal, and the support team will look into it. They’re not going to prioritise a single player because their friends have kicked up a fuss as that wouldn’t be fair

There is a process that players can go through; why should someone have an advantage over others simply because they have friends who would break rules for them? :P

Bud, if you sat in the position of a moderator, you would understand how much time and energy goes into ‘looking into stuff’. I was sitting and doing reports from 10:00-4:00 to help players like you have fewer hackers on the server. If you’re going to be rude and ungrateful about the work that we, unpaid volunteers, do, then I suggest leaving and going to a server you believe has a staff team that cares more about its players than us (good luck). If you don’t care about the player, then don’t kick up a fuss and let them go through the process.

Bud, I’m not frustrated; I deal with situations like this on a daily basis. Having to repeat myself isn’t frustrating, it’s tiring and draining so I have to put every effort to explain things so that players can understand the situation that we have. I am happy to politely discuss things and explain the position that the Hive has but having players spam ‘free x’ doesn’t do anything for anyone really.

I think it’s a great idea, but it would just divide the community up more in my view. Skywars and Treasurewars have the demand to be able to have four separate game modes without waiting for ages, but there times even then where it can take a while. With SG having fewer players than SW and TW, it would basically make it minutes before games begin :(

As I said, the role is a volunteer role. Depending on the timezone you’re in, it may mean there aren’t any moderators online. We give up our time outside of work, school, uni, family, playing with friends, to deal with hackers. We understand there can be times where reports can take a while but during peak times and where there is a backlog, it can take some time and expectedly so. Nonetheless, all reports are looked into :)

Main duos and learn all supply cow locations. Avoid fights you cant win and push fights that are in progress. If you encounter a duo, tunnel the weakest one and hit the stronger one whenever. Once you kill the weak link you can focus on the stronger one. Utilize TNT’s and know good loot spots
