ill explain jc’s quickly basically.
Jump canceling is a way to reduce knockback. hitting jump during one of the frames you’re being hit will make it occur.
Good ways to time it. When you hear the sound of you getting hit (tends to make you jump too much) and/or when your hand turns red. (can end up being too late and increasing kb occasionally)

i dont play with hand or sound so i just predict (I dont recommend this by any means its just how i like doing it

It's honestly not too hard to memorize a map's layout. It's all about patterns. You don't need to memorize which blocks are where, you just need to have a concept of shapes and patterns, so you recognize when one's different

Unpopular opinion but I really like Mobius. It's simple, has easy to memorize locations for cows+echests, and lots of teleporters. It just sort of makes sense. I know some people say stuff about it being too complicated or whatever but I think it's just the right size, plus it also looks beautiful

I liked the old colors as well, though I don't think that we'll be fully updating to have 1.17 blocks for a while, as we don't have any in any gamemode yet. 1.16 will have to suffice. And yesss, the plants are amazing - the only 'biomes' I prefer in the summer theme are probably the arches one, and the little town one (not the big city, the small one that's pink)
