That's because the enemy is intelligent and DENIES your combo. Meaning to say that once u start comboing someone he can easily turn 180 degrees in the other direction and use your hits as a boost to escape

Yea very rarely do u get to see people dumb enough to get snowballed high in the air and continue to try and hit you. Most of the time they just escape in the other direction. Think nothing much of those flashy combo montages as they are just people bullying mobile players :)
