1- XP Bonuses
Try combining as many XP bonuses as you can at the same time to maximize each XP income. There are 3 types of XP bonuses:

• Login streak = 10% (log in each day to increase the bonus by 1% a day, up to 10%)
• XP Booster = 50% (buy them next to the QuestMaster in the hub for 200QP; earn QP by doing quests)
• Hive+ = 50%

If you combine all these bonuses, you can get up to +110% XP. Meaning, for example, that instead of getting 10 XP per kill, you will get 21 XP (10 + 1 + 5 + 5). This is a MASSIVE increase.

Unless you have a billion QP, you will not be able to spam XP boosters all the time (they only last for 1 hour), so be smart about when you use them. If you can, use a booster at the time of day when the most people are online in your region. That way, you will spend your hour getting XP by killing people instead of waiting in the lobby for players to join.

By the way, you have to ACTIVATE the booster using the /booster command. I forgot to do it for the longest time, as I thought it just activated when I bought it, but it does not. Don’t be like me.

2- Optimizing Waiting Time
It's important to shorten the time you wait in lobbies as much as possible. Here are some tips:

• Get a client with an "auto rq" option (like OderSo or Flarial, for example). This will rq you to the next sg lobby as soon as you win, instantly saving a few seconds each game.
• When in a lobby, try crouching or just getting away from the lobby spawn enough that people joining do not see your name. This will prevent casual players from skipping you, and the game countdown will appear faster (12 players minimum).
• If you are without a partner and your lobbies aren't filling fast, try alternating between solos and duos lobbies so you can start a game faster (simply use /q sg or /q sg-duos every 15 seconds or so until a game starts counting down).
• If you notice both lobbies take too long to start, consider joining another region using the /region command and join the one with the most active players (this will sacrifice some of your ping, though).
• Try not to rq sweats unless you are 100% sure you will get absolutely owned. It is usually more worth it to stay, get a few kills (10+ XP each), reach deathmatch (15+ XP), and then lose your game, than to rq and lose a lot of time waiting in a lobby (0 XP). This advice is only valuable if you don't care that much about your win rate stats.

3- During a Game
To make sure you get as much XP in a game as possible, it is essential that you keep a balance between risk/reward that suits the current situation best. Here’s what I mean by that:

• If there are skilled players in your game, prioritize safety first, gear up, and keep your teammate within sight.
• If no skilled players are in the game, consider splitting up with your teammate across the map to cover as much area as possible; this will make it much faster to find people.
• If you find a tracker, always take it; it’s such a useful item.
• If you don’t see anyone around you (with or without a tracker), use the closest teleporter or jump pad around you; you will cover ground faster this way.
• As soon as the grace period ends, try killing everyone at spawn with your teammate. There are almost always defenseless people at the very start, consider them as free XP. Important information: ONLY kill the players near spawn when the grace timer ends; otherwise, this is considered targeting, and it is a toxic way to play. Your goal is to gather XP fast, NOT ruin people's day.
• Hit the Cache Cows if you see them. Cache Cow = 5+ XP.

Your goal is to get the game down to 4 players left as fast as possible, then you have to make a choice:

• Keep hunting around the map to end the game even before deathmatch starts: This is usually the most effective way to grind during peak hours of player activity when lobbies fill up very fast. Skipping deathmatch can save a huge amount of time.
• Stop hunting and wait for deathmatch. You will get 15+ extra XP for reaching deathmatch. This makes the game a little slower, but if there aren’t many people playing SG at this time of day, you will wait a long time in the lobby anyway, so you might as well get 15+ XP while you're at it.

4- Maps
The best map for grinding fast is Blossom, as it is a smaller map with well-placed teleporters and lots of chests everywhere for you to loot.

The slowest map to play on is Vista, as it is a very big map with poorly placed teleporters; you will spend most of your game running and finding absolutely no one on it.

All the other maps are up for debate. But basically, try voting Blossom unless you’re sick of it, or at the very least, do NOT vote for Vista.

XP values without bonuses:

• Kill = 10 XP
• Reaching deathmatch = 15 XP
• Unlocking a cache cow = 5 XP
• Win = 30 XP
