There are also different types of "infinity" so to just throw it out there to begin with is incorrect.

I'd say that just like trying to take the square root of 2 results in an imaginary number, so does dividing by zero.

I mean getting an infinite KDR doesn't actually mean anything for skill but its a good flex

it doesn't result in an imaginary number because the concept of 0 doesn't allow any number (real or imaginary) to satisfy the equation for the ratio of the numerator to the denominator. It's a very hard concept to understand because of what we think of as "0".

There is an interesting thought around dividing by 0 and it's that if you take some number and divide it by smaller and smaller numbers you'll see that the ratio increases to higher and higher numbers as the denominator decreases so it makes sense that we would think dividing by 0 would give an infinitely large number as a result but like I said before the concepts kind of just don't mix. We don't understand 0 very well and it's actually hard to prove the value of 0 in the first place.
