Armor is another question, it’s common not to find a chest plate, but it’s ridiculously easy to get medium strength armor otherwise. Usually 1-2 kills will leave you with full armor mid game.

My usual plan of action (keep in mind, as of my last session I was top 20 on the monthly leaderboard in a third of the playing time of most other players), is to use the snowball method. Getting kills on people who my not have a lot of gear, but the people who have the pieces you need.

#

This is beneficial for getting gear quickly, as you can start this process after 1 mid chest and maybe 1-2 tier one loot chests near spawn. Often means you have to target a player, which feels kinda bad, but is a con of the game as is.

#

Hope any of this helps boost your win rate. I’m sure it’s more difficult as a mobile player.
