My advice on how to not only gain xp more, but to obtain stronger game sense in general, is to solo duos. Solo duos helped me MASSIVELY to think efficiently when you are dealing w numerous incoming teams of 2 by yourself. Forget finding a buddy, thats time consuming and not guaranteed. Do this method and it'll better you to the point of where people start looking for you instead as you will become a significant player on sg.

and to add, having a partner limits your chances of getting kills for yourself
