It's a lot more difficult to grind without hive+ so understandable. When I maxed out, it was in the first 3-5 months that Murder Mystery came out and I didn't really do much throughout the day(not extracurricular activities, no homework, etc).

Level doesn't describe skill. I'm a level 100 but I have the WORST AIM(Not exaggerated. The Murderer can stand in 1 spot and I'll shoot 3 miles to the left[has happened before]) and I don't get victories every game but someone can be a level 1 and have extremely good aim and fluent murder plays

Like Max. He's a level 48 rn but he's really good as murderer and his aim is quite good too. He isn't maxed bc he plays other games such as SW or SG

I finally got to lvl 50. I started playing in February

[serene marsh]

I started playing the day MM came out and grinded all day for about 3-5 months. Hive+ does make it a lot easier but it is 100% possible to do without(I've seen about 5-10 level 100's with no boosts of any sort). My personal suggestions for leveling up would be;
•Try to get 30 coins every round or at least 10.
•Playing with friends helps a lot more bc if one of you are murderer then you can kill everyone or they can shoot you for xp (same goes for their side) and everyone can collect 30 coins (I wouldn't hold up the game tho unless y'all are the only ones in the server. Killing the murderer in the last 30secs with 30 coins gives you max xp)
•Try to kill the murderer if you see a good chance but the better play is to try and survive as long as you can (so basically don't try hunting the murderer when you get a bow)
•Do quests to make it more fun
•Smaller maps such as Office are usually the best maps to be murderer in bc it's easier to locate people, tho bigger maps give more range to Dodge arrows
•Isolate yourself from people as much as possible unless you know who the murderer is or you're 100% sure someone isn't the murderer
•If you feel like you'll be murderer, use a previous suggestion or vote for a map you're comfortable being murderer in(your best map)

Other people may have different tips/perspectives on leveling up but those are personal tips I would've wanted to know or used

Also depends on how many murder eliminations he was able to get and survival bonus xp. A lot of murderers aren't that good or don't want to be murderer so that can also be a factor

Use your pinky finger to move on the mobile screen since it has high sensitivity, and do everything else on your controller

I have a bug where with some of my shots it doesn’t shoot, and then the arrow permanently disappears so I can’t shoot again if I’m sheriff
