I mean I'd say so, whilst I was grinding way back in October I was able to get max coins in around 2 minutes, find shoot murd and I found that to be more effective grinding exp rather than collecting 10 coins and shooting murd

However, shooting murd when u see them while focusing coins is still optimal just due to variance in finding murd and that whole survival xp thing I described earlier
