yes castle is a great map for coins. some other good coin maps are eso, manor, and office (when the murd kills and there are very few innos left)

just memorize the spawn locations of all the coins on the maps you play, then collecting coins will be easy

you get 3-4 xp for each coin you collect (since you have ultimate rank), up to 50 as inno/sher and up to 20 as murd. once you reach coin xp cap, you don't get xp for collecting coins anymore

there's also a large amount of familiarity bias - many people aren't good enough at the game to understand when a map is making things hard, and they just vote with what they know. Since office and backrooms are often voted, people are most familiar with them and vote them more. It's not because they're good - its because they're familiar.
