on blockbench when you can just open the speficic geometry you want and add whatever skin you want to add the cosmetics to and the geometry still shows so you can just draw in the geometry easily
most of the time when you put skins into a geomtry it breaks the skin tho so you'd have to fix some things but its not that hard when you know how to fix it
