edr represents rate of which you kill murderer compared to them killing you, elimination to death ratio, your deaths as innocent, sheriff, or murderer count towards your deaths, and eliminations are kills of murderer by you, a good edr is .5 or more, also you should try to max your elimination of murderers rather than coin aquisition as you earn 60 exp per murderer elim and only 60 in 20 coins, that means you're more likely to run into the murderer most games because coin density is low in most maps

I only learned recently how much more exp efficient it is to elim murderer than to gather as many coins as possible, the only reason to gather as much coins as possible is for exp when you don't see murderer and noone is around you

think about the fact most matches last upwards of 2 minutes before murderer is eliminated, within that time you probably get 30 coins max but if you die, you lose all progress on coins and lose another 20+ seconds waiting on the next game to start, best to position yourself initially at places where you won't expose yourself to too many people then steadily work to eliminate murderer by collecting coins at locations which are currently unoccupied
