Honestly, I think this is a really great design feature. The teleporter being the only way to access certain areas provides fresh and exciting gameplay, such as sitting in a corner for 5 minutes holding down right click. It really helps with the balancing of Murder Mystery on that map and offers a more fair experience, especially for the murderer.
