So I've been incorporating my own twists into creating games that have good maps like that, currently I'm working on one which I feel might be the best concept I've had so far, and its one that doesn't push for technical skill but something more nuanced

The idea I'm currently working off of for my own map is a 2v2 thing which the map would be big enough to support minimum

The map idea I have is one that not many would expect either, it's gonna be a one way descent theme

Basically the idea is a fortress with a caverns below with the fortress being the most upper layer which everyone will start in

The idea is if runners get cornered or out of options to escape they can just drop down the caverns but the twist is theres no way back up

And it increasingly goes layer down by layer where the map also shrinks limiting options so basically its a test of psychological mindfullness rather than technical skill

1 hunter is at slowed speed (can eliminate in one hit)

the other is at normal speed (can eliminate in 3 hits max)

Basically meaning both hunters have to work together while the slowness gives leverage to control the map and anticipating while keeping it mostly fair for runners

This is the whole idea I've been working on and the map itself is gonna be called "Iron Below"

That's the idea for what I'm working on currently

In terms of tag based elimination gamemode

still being built, but in terms of functionality I have a good grasp of how to make it work since a previous map I've made had good command works to create a good functional map for that purpose as well as it having its own leaderboard

The only problem is player dynamics / preferences because the whole baseline is to make the mechanics have intended roles for either side and stuff like that rather than just running around not playing their part

The runners role is pretty self explanatory

However the hunter dynamics is the main issue because the normal hunter is intended to create pressure and force decision

The other (slowed) hunter is meant to control / cut off escape options and capitalize on the pressure created

Both roles to create a synergized hunter dynamic, but most people who chase (from what I see) don't even like the idea of upfront chasing and direct pressure and instead rely on others to do the "hard work" for them or play passively
