No chance I'm watching other people have fun for five dollars, I think it's far simpler to attribute them to higher caliber players than suggest as much since there's little credence to cheaters garnering that much attraction early on. I can count cheaters I've genuinely encountered on a single hand, they're not prevalent enough to suggest they'd be so blatant and ostensible this late into the game.

It just resembles as much when they're that honed and zoned into the game, something bound to happen when you dangle leaderboards to reward that degree of investment and commitment.

As a seeking player stumbling back into the game, I struggle to see how the current landscape differed to any meaningful capacity from the months prior, the one last summer when new maps had been introduced.

I can reconcile the err with Hide and Seek not being compatible to that competitive mindset, but the game shouldn't have to accommodate to those whom bring it to that degree. Even so, all games on Hive bear some competitive presence, that's nothing new and unique to see it en masse on Hide and Seek.

And hey, at least you can still see the hiders.

Leaderboards gives reason and contextualizes that avid, ardent backing for those more competitive players to see traction for those efforts. Now, it can become an entirely separate discussion when those top leaderboards on the month get boosted to such a disproportionate level that no one playing solo can compete to the Top10. Harborstead I hadn't found nearly as much issue since I'm used to that structure, but it's involved and not all too permitting to rechecking for return hiders. Sizable maps coupled with poor subdivision that leads to rougher weighting when assigning memorization, it's what made it so untowards wonting when Construction made its way into rotation.
