for some reason Bedrock lost the chance to have many of those mechanics for some reason. The excuse used was that it all would be "too confusing" for new players... which in turn makes the game nowhere near as fun to play in the long term

No seeker queue, block levels, buyable blocks, achievements, jumpsolid, dropsolid, customisable armour/join messages, ranks, points, etc.

instead we just get block cosmetics which are not as fun to grind for

The glitch is a memory-related issue, specifically with how player skins are handled. Seemingly, the client doesn't release player skins from memory when it is no longer needed. Honestly the main thing wrong with hide is the lack of attention it gets from hive. If it was as focused on as bedwars or skywars then it would be more competitive. Honestly the Java players coming to hide and everyone being focused on the monthly record has created the most comp I’ve seen since April 2023 when zhadow and his seek party was at their prime and everyone who played in my tournament played often. I think hide will either come back or will die in the next few months once the hype for the monthly record fades away
