Just on the questions about why these changes weren't announced, the fixes were just supposed to be for out-of-map issues, and possibly some other fixes that the build team saw necessary, usually not something worthy of announcing. Looks like there may have been some things changed unintentionally here; I'm not saying that any of the specific changes are unintentional, but I can definitely ask about anything that you deem to be wrong 
Also, in case this isn't obvious, these map fixes aren't part of the upcoming Hide and Seek update that has been announced, such an update will be announced when it is released

The main thing people are confused about is the removal of this ladder, along with the statue change.
To clarify; the top of the statue. allowing hiders to climb higher along the back of it is a good idea. Just the top section needs to be completely barriered off to prevent any future abusing of unintended barrier placement issues

start with a single map (pripyat is a good start) and memorize it completely
seek it a bunch until you never lose as a seeker on that map
then learn a second map (plasma, kingston, hospital, etc) and play that a bunch, learning all the spots. If you ever cannot find someone buy replay pass and use that to see where they were after the game. Continue this until you've mastered all of the maps. It takes time and effort but the results are amazing! I believe in you!

Best thing you can do right now is avoid doing that.

I see the map as a runners free win and just out right annoying, runners is what makes ts bad and seeking it is easy if your not a good chaser, and I think that’s why people also hate chime cause it’s just a 2.0 of ts so makes sense why lot of people hate chime.
