If you're talking about maxing this gamemode with a 100% win rate, then theoretically yes it is possible but you would have to be extremely lucky. The way this gamemode works is you get an automatic loss if you are assigned the death role so you would need to get your ~3,000 wins without ever receiving the death role and the odds of that are astronomically low.

No you're exactly right. That's why you can predict where the jaws might be summoned based on the people in front of you that are also in the trap. If you're like 1-2 seconds behind someone in a jaws trap, it's good to stay out of their line because you know for sure that there will be one right where they are. And yes the trap can track you vertically. That's why you sometimes see a jaw a block above the floor or in more niche scenarios, really high off the ground like on the jaws trap in Gardens where your jump boost carries over into the trap.
