I disagree. Death plays a very important role. This is DEATHrun after all. As much as it can be annoying to die to deaths who go after 1st & whatnot, it's kinda what makes this game Deathrun and not just a parkour race. Without the deaths, this would basically just be Cubecraft's competitive parkour 1v1s, but with 20 people.

so the reasons the community hates on deaths are very simple. First off, deaths make the game less enjoyable without exception. Second, the deaths make the games take longer so grinding is easier. Third, its about the same amount of xp if they just /q so there's really no point in a good player playing as death unless they just wanna be rude to the runners. fourth, so many deaths target first place (if you don't target first as death then most people dont really care lol)

No, u have to let go of ur sprint jump twice, setting up the jump and running onto the speed boost. Getting the stair boost sets up nicely on the corner of the middle trap. The only way it could be faster is with an insane stair boost with perfect alignment which isn't worth grinding for smth that might not even be faster or like .1 at best
