yea because side rush meta forces at least half the map to run for the other halves treasures, many times leading to 1 or 2 players getting bullied into losing before they even get to start, meanwhile the people who get lucky enough to not get rushed have infinite resources

if side rush wasnt a meta, those people wouldnt be so free because people would actually have to consider the fact they will BECOME a threat

like in trios, you get side rushed much less often, and you have a chance to defend yourself.
theres still the issue of being double rushed and 1 team getting all the emeralds but its more of a rare occurrence than an inevitability.
in solos you just hope it doesnt happen to YOU
and most other solos players dont even care because its just another requeue, but i actually like playing the game and dont grind

i think there are ways to make playing fast profitable without also promoting getting yourself killed.
its practically built into the design.
xp in a game should be like a bank, where the faster you withdraw, the faster you are earning, it shouldnt be about how much you can scoop up before you die, it should be how fast can you empty that bank, where late game objectives give more and more XP.
breaking a treasure just isnt a late game objective when you can do it in the first few seconds of a game.
ultimately the only real late game objective is to win, but even final kill XP would be preferred over breaking a treasure because then arming yourself and fighting back could be a viable way to counter the meta
