what is the competitive point of trying to get a higher level or get more wins when the entire metric that matters in that is more time played on a game

its like seeing who can sit on their computer and click a number counter to get the highest number

theres no skill, no challenge, nothing. you're just racing other people to see who can spend more time on the video game

like if you see these people who grind the leaderboard next month, and calculate their time played per game and convert it into hours, they're playing like all concious hours of the day. its not healthy

I guess you could argue that grinding could be like any other sedentary hobby people spent hours doing what they’re good at and what they enjoy doing right like why would I spend hours doing something? I wouldn’t like you know it’s just what people like and it’s just how they have fun especially when you grind leaderboard that’s not just about sitting down on your desk for hours. There’s more to it like have you seen with your friends or even just messing around with each other during these games. You could also say that not many people spend that many hours on leaderboard because he could possibly average a minute or two and crank out like 30 winds in an hour couple hours. He could probably get like 150 wins 200 and it’s not that hard. You won’t have to spend that much time if you know how to grind with the right tools I would say.
