my counter is kill them because they're usually really bad with it and if they're alright then i go to mid and farm up like 8 pearls and kill them that way
The bow isn't a good counter it's not something i really ever use im any rounds
pearls are a good example of a balanced movement item, you can use them but they damage you
Imagine if they removed damage from ender pearls and as long as you don't throw too many at once you have infinite
