When you join hive you are already connected to the server with your best ping, so if you or the server is lagging changing regions will make it worse

ghost blocks can happen on almost any ping, i've gotten a player with 20 ping kicked for ghost blocks before

icic, well tip #1 if not alr set your sensetivity to 100, it might be a big jump tho (idk ur sense) do if it is, go up in intervals of 5 until you get used to it, then increase again.
You can always queue dodge the sweats but there will always be some that sneak in so aim is most important
