I want to believe balance and meta tweaks will mean something great for the game, but based on how the past two seasons went, I don't have muuch hope or excitement in all honesty

In all honesty, I think that for this reason, they shouldn't be rushing out new Seasons. It was very easy to tell that Season 3 was not playtested enough before its release

Season 3 has lvl 100, it different from all other seasons as prestiges are after level 100, including if they have Season 4 like in April-July, bedwars would just die out due to lack of updates, fun, etc and bedwars would just be full of bots.

That is true to an extent, but something interesting that I have been seeing is that after the release of Season 3, average playercounts of BedWars have dropped from Season 2. I think more than anything, the overall quality of the update will have a far greater impact compared to the frequency of updates

Honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up based on my disappointment with Season 3

Meta and balance tweaks seem promising, but I'm not sure if I trust the direction Hive will take it based on how they designed the previous two seasons

If they really want to do this right, I think they should be a bit more hands on like they have been in the past, and do the update previews again

Have people actually playtest the update before its official

Season 2 had improvements over Season 1 with the fall boots buff, the addition of shears, and the removal of turrets & dragon breath balls. However, I wasn't a fan of the way potions were implemented and how the game became overly focused on resource gathering at your base. Not to mention the map changes they made, which were recieved poorly, and for good reason

Season 3 basically went backwards from Season 2 in almost every direction you could think of

The maps they added were good, though they didn't add a lot. It was clear Mega was rushed since its missing maps that were previously available in its Treasure Wars variant
