Took down the first guy with my sword, knocked the others off with fireballs, and won the whole match solo!

Hello, can some1 explain why bedwars is so bad? Why the pvp meta in it is litteraly spears, fishes and potions infinity spam. Why not sword-bow-snowball as in treasure wars. It pvp game or dota 2 simulator?
