A strat I use for bedwars solos and squads is I get 5 iron, buy wool, bridge to diamond gen and grab three diamonds

I use those three diamonds to cover the bed in deepslate (costs 2 diamonds) and upgrade generator (1 diamond)

then you get 5 iron and 5 gold to buy oak planks and a stone sword and then I just start stabbing people
