I think the problem is people think hive is updating the wrong sort of things example: sg got new maps and I saw people happy with that.
Something like this is just something not a lot of people appeal to either because it looks like it was ripped off from other servers, it’s missing elements and is looking slightly rushed, or the format is just bad for this mode

-no snow balls
-game time is smaller
-obsidian takes 1 emerald each so it’s easier to defend
-if they have lower respawn time from buff it’ll be hard to break obsidian def before they respawn
-if they were gonna add obsidian then they should have eff enchants or something
-takes 15 iron to get enough blocks pretty sure on some maps
-getting diamonds and emeralds to get stacks of stuff is easier now
If some of these are untrue then u can correct me

A lot of people have put this as a recommendation. Instead of taking out a longtime lasting gamemode, jsut make it as an expansion to bedwars but obviously make them both separate gamemodes.

The amount of time people have put in treasure wars alone jsut for it to get completely wiped off the server is insane and I’m sure that those people aren’t happy about that or to see bedwars replace it.

I’m sure you guys are just trying something new or what not but listen to what people have to say because taking something away that a lot of people appreciated is going to kill your server big time. Nothing is wrong with adding both treasure wars and bedwars together for everybody to enjoy, yet taking something that held your server together out of the picture entirely.

One thing is that treasure wars had like 1500-2000 players at all time, if I remember correctly. Which means that if we have bedwars and treasure wars at the same time, there would probably be 1000 players per side, which would be largely enough for games to start. Many mini games only have 100 players ish and still start pretty fast, ik those are short games but still. So I don't know why remove treasure wars

True, because skywars kit is not the main game, adding skywars kit did not disturb the main game. Although yes skywars kit has not much players, but adding it didn't affect the other one. I mostly played squads which is a different meta but even most of my solos games have gone on far longer than my treasure wars games. Maybe double is an exaggeration for solos, but it is 100% significantly longer from my experience - also when I was playing squads we had our gens on level 5 every game and it was still too slow which is a little absurd - the old tier 3 gems were much faster

Positives could be that it’s slower paced which brings a more casual side to the game for people and it makes the game feel more relaxing. Negatives are that it feels to slow and the shop is incredibly broken and prices need to be adjusted. Removing snowballs was a horrible idea and rebranding without having a way that people can return to what they preferred out of the two was a mistake
