It’s a 6 week course but actually 7 since they’re cancelling the one on Christmas. So January 22nd is when he completes training.

Right? I mean I probably will still want another one but that’s over a month away and Finn is already bored. I understand where they’re coming from with the not adopting til he finishes training, but to say they don’t allow adoption of multiples was ridiculous since I know they have recently AND posted about it. Maybe they were special circumstances, but all of them were puppies under 1 year adopted together. And they claim they don’t allow that. 🤷🏼‍♀️ oh well I guess. My main issue is my brothers lab is older and loved Finn but can’t keep up with puppy energy. I might have to suck it up and force my ex to lemme steal his dog for a couple weeks lol 🥰

Yeah, that's really unfair.. I think a puppy (or any baby animal) should have at least one playmate as it grows, or is being trained. It just helps a lot... And lol, maybe you should steal em. I don't think the dog would mind 😆

They’re probably worried about littermate syndrome which makes sense… til you know they’ve adopted multiples to others. I’m assuming it’s just different circumstances or maybe because technically it was both adopted at the same time it’s different somehow? I didn’t ask questions because it won’t get me anywhere with them. But I’ll have to figure out something so my baby isn’t bored. I just feel bad he sleeps all the time and when he tries playing with the cats they don’t wanna play the way he does. I’ll find something to help him but he doesn’t even wanna play with me when I have his toys. Just alone.

See my puppy doesn’t wanna play with people, he’s used to playing with dogs. All he wants to play is fetch with me but we can’t do that inside, if I try tug of war or anything else he just goes to sleep or takes the toy and runs back to the corner and throws it around on his own.
