can anyone explain the circuit board slab shortcut? everytime I hold space it seems like a 50/50 of dying or making the portal skip

It has nothing to do with whether you're holding space or not

You need to land on the absolute edge of the slab in order to be able to do get the double jump

There is a setup for it which requires you to hit a specific block on your way down from the side which lines you up almost perfectly so you can just hold sprint and space and you'll get it every time

I like to tap a on my keyboard three times and that works pretty well but pretty much anything works, you can also just go slightly to the side

For Pixels you have to be standing on the barrier for the blip to work (yes that means its only possible when Pixels is first stage), on Under The Sea you want to jump in the map at the top for it to work

Also a double jump and a blip are two different things. A blip is when there is a setup so that you can instantly get out of the water in a map. This only works on a few maps and requires very specific set ups. So it depends on where you jump/walk from. A double jump is technically possible anywhere since it only requires that you land on the absolute edge of a block. You can do this pretty much anywhere without a setup and also on blocks like a slab

Double jumping always kills you since it doesnt reset your fall damage. So you either have to land in the water after or directly in the portal

Also make sure that for Concrete you jump only from the two highest pillars. Only that works as a blip setup
