I tried clearing the screenshot download and marketplace caches and it didn't fix the issue. All I can hear in block party is the general Minecraft music and the noise of people drinking potions. Makes the game pretty difficult when you can't hear the countdown (or the noise when you get a power up)

This should fix the problem if not check your game setting on block party and Make sure that the music is not off It should be at 50% by default. If that does not work try restarting you game or contact Hive support.
