The hat is coded like a helmet. Whenever you wear the hat it takes up your helmet armor space, and this makes it so that you can't put a helmet on your head in games like Treasure Wars and SkyWars. That said, I'm only repeating what the Hive has already stated. If you would like to see them added in PvP games too, maybe make a suggestion on the forums with a possible solution.

As someone with experience with such colors, there's no good pink color available that's not magenta.

However, there are other ways to know the color:

1. read the word
2. look in your hotbar
3. look in the top right, if you have color notifications on in settings
4. look at the screens
