Not to mention it's in nature for him to steal from others Serpent stole credit for the CIEL system AND corrupted it. X hates this since he can feel the energy from the giant lotus isn't the same as on the ship so it makes sense.

• The New Four aren't evil and provide moral reasonings for why they won't join the games (this was an early set up as I like to think Prome and Pan were busy searching for new Chosen Ones)
• The events are STILL the same but unlike the game, the time it takes to get the models back is a reflection of 1. The injuries received in battle need real time to heal and also exist 2. Storytelling. Duh lol. Can't be instant. 3. Grey is woken much sooner, no timeskip, which means Ashe is 4 years younger than him(11) but he's still his Canon age and Thetis is her best friend 4. Action gets kinda boring sometimes for me

• Thetis was born with his eye color, demonized for it after he lost his parents, but accepted by Atlas and adopted as a Lil bro which in turn saved him as compared to everyone else HE would've accepted if it meant revenge against Humans and Reploids. Held a huge grudge as a child so y'know.
• Atlas nearly lost her sanity and got out while she could but was afraid of her family in a way if she tried to go back home (home country wasn't ravaged so fam IS alive) mostly due to an argument happening the year she left to become a soldier. Thetis and Ashe are kinda the two who helped stabilize her when she got out+babysitting Ashe, while didn't expect nor want to, meant she had a job. Not to mention, the kids love exploring with her.
• Aeolus is a teacher, whatever corrupted him in Canon never happened. Also best friend to Siarnaq.
• Siarnaq was never ever able to be a full fledged assassin so he didn't get to go out and experience the betrayal his Canon counterpart did. Works as a receptionist, but Aeolus is his best friend who helps train him.

Takes care of the twins and basically adopted Grey after finding him. • Vent is a crybaby, not as much, but it is how Giro found him and his sister. Often bullied and was why they were homeschooled (Aile was why). There's animosity between him and his sister. Chosen by H, synchronizes with him much MUCH later. Afflicted with corruption but it only enhances his negative emotions which is never a good thing. He's not terrified of heights at all but if he's not merged with H, he'll panic and unfortunately hyperventilate if his feet aren't on making contact with the ground/slips and nearly falls from a great height. He also has a massive fear of water and deep water due to Lurerre nearly drowning him. Happens to have a crush on Pandora due to her ice dolls being cute to him. His sister teases him a lot about this.

• Aile's protective of Vent, sole reason why they were homeschooled as she kept beating up his bullies, grief is used as a motivator for how strong she is, animosity w/Vent even though she's not hostile to him, gave up Z and X to protect him. Like Vent, she does have a crush but she does not develop it until so much later. She wants to save the sib duo. Happens to be the one who runs the most coffee deliveries for Giro. Teased Atlas's little sister, Fenrir, for having a crush on a mechanic, Cody. So yeah, she'll tease anyone for the funsies.

None of his battles were won easily in Z1 (against the Guardians) due to needing to relearn his skills. But it was specifically the Guardians.

Phantom and Fefnir being able to ambush and knock him out to steal Giro is also another thing. At that time, Zero didn't know of Hidden Phantom and his senses weren't sharp. Basically putting Amnesia in everything.
Also Command Mission is Canon to Essence as well. Elf wars, too ofc, but X discarded his CM armor and used his old for the sealing process on the Dark Elf.

You can practically thank Ashe for that, too. She's why the four were met to begin with.

The Ambush is also part of the game so I used that element, then combined it with them landing in Area G.

The people there, even when the fire happened later on (after Vent recovered and the ship was set to fly again), didn't really fall for the Propaganda. Partially why they're the, as my friend puts it, "punching bag" 😭

Cody's shop is there, too.

Tho the fire happened about as soon as they got off the ground
And was dealt with by Aile as Model H after a couple other things happened. Eventful basically.
Giro went into the building to rescue people as Crimson Devil (Model F) and just so happened Ashe was there.

She shows up to help with the relief efforts check on her sister and Giro, and provide backup in technology now. Not to mention, she wants to take back the credit for her CIEL system (the one on the ship is the true version. X has stated in the story that the one Slither Inc uses doesn't feel right versus the one in the, formerly CIEL system room, lab.) And pretty much just get payback generally.

"Atlas! ATLAS!" Aeolus would call out to the ruined debris of Slither Inc's main tower where the Imitation CIEL system had been at the top and where the fight the twins, with Grey and Ashe, had taken place.
He was also concerned for Siarnaq as he hadn't seen him since the fight had ended. All he saw in the area was chaos and ruin after all... Even though they had won, it was at a cost. He just hoped it wasn't the cost he thinks it was going to be. Especially when the four of them will still have to deal with Albert sooner than later.
"This would be so much easier if I just had Model H... But I can do this." He grumbled to himself, still searching. Then called out, "ATLAS! SIARNAQ!"
Just as he called out, he heard some debris being moved and cautiously approached. Once it was lifted, it revealed Siarnaq with a large shadow Shuriken shield having blocked the debris, but also an unconscious pair of siblings. Specifically Atlas and Thetis.
"Ah! Are you...?" He'd start.
"Blind here as my glasses got broken... But yeah, we're okay. They're injured, just not badly." Siarnaq sighed, shoving the debris off completely to the side. Then looked at the two.
"I'm glad you and those two are okay nonetheless." Aeolus walked over, pulling out a case of glasses to give to him which were accepted as the Ninja puts them on.
"Yeah well... I don't think we should celebrate. Maybe the Guardians can but... Albert."
"Right. Still got him to deal with. Though we can worry about that later. We should get them back to the base."

Cody for example had one set for him to die early.

But Ciel removed it when his core was malfunctioning after finding it.

The malfunction of the core sped up Cody's clock.

So he did kinda nearly die...

If you want who brought him in, that would be Atlas when she was leaving the lab and found him collapsed, struggling. So technically Atlas indirectly saved his life alongside Ciel. Atlas also stayed by him because he's a kid like Thetis so she's got a soft spot.

Similarly, Zero saved Aile cuz he went back to get his Replica body, took Giro's bike, and brought her back after the ambush.
So everyone's been mostly rescued at least once.
Siarnaq indirectly rescued Atlas cuz she was stuck in the Slither Inc building after her little outburst put the place in lockdown.

Some Mythos branch plans (concept mainly):
-Mother Elf was responsible for the Energy; it acts as a counter to W's own. She didnt exactly think there'd be side effects to it
-Atlas was originally going to be a fire wolf, but her spirit reflected more of an undying Phoenix
-Aeolus may be a Storm Phoenix, but his feathers as one do not allow swimming. It does, however, make him waterproof from rain.
-Thetis is obviously the largest of the group but he's not taller than Ciel.
-(Canonically happening) Ciel is working on a cure to help with the side effect that happens when a Chosen becomes a Mythos. The side effect? They're stuck as one for 3 days.

-Siarnaq despises catnip.

-Fenrir only became a Phoenix because she was influenced by the energy rather than it happening during a merge like the others did. However, she was freaked out and had a little tussle with her bedsheets when she woke up :)
-F(Feri/Fefnir) still blames himself
-All Psuedoroids are more rampant but they have self worth where they'd rather be sacrificed than killed again, especially Hurricane.
-It was originally planned that Zero, Giro, and X would have a Mythos form. However, I scrapped this because the cat stuff was a joke. I also scrapped the idea of Zero being a Dire Wolf and X being a large rabbit. It didn't mesh well

-It is unknown where Mother Elf truly is and X believes it'd take him a month to track her down in Cyberspace to get her help.
-(concept) Mother Elf did develop her own Elf form. Pretty lady who reflects a bit of X's design as well as Zero's as a way to thank them both.
