What if that "School out!" post in the blog is just a new chapter in Rec Room's history?

I think what game's shutdown is temporary for devs to take everything up and will literally last till the end of the summer, like summer vacations for schoolars...
Or will it take a bit longer to fix things up if it's even possible to? Who knows?...

At least I hope it will turn out like that...

What your thoughts on that?

I think it’s better to just accept that the game is shutting down.
It was great whilst it lasted
But I don’t quite see why they would try fix their game that they couldn’t make enough money on

I would be surprised if Rec room returned in the future as a official platform

15 would be good for game like Rec Room I guess

Personally I would price it at probably like 5 pound so that hopefully most players don’t look at said price and think “I ain’t spending that much just to go back”

I also believe tho that RR probably needed to reduce its costs

I'm now thinking of Rec Room's closure as being like closure of an old, dilapidated school built in the 1980s that needs major repairs or a complete rebuild from scratch

Honestly one way would be "pay to publish" with private rooms being hosted on the person's pc instead of the server. Published rooms get put on the server and this would allow for more room. Besides many of the rooms I have seen appear to be Roblox copies

There are projects to save rec room, like RecUnion. But i think its the end, why would they only do this now, and not the past years?

Gribbly said this is the end of the road for rec room 😭 hopefully he changes his mind but he probably won't, there's nothing really profitable to save. It would be nice if they made a new rec room that doesn't have any UGC though
