I mean think about it the reason the game is shutting down is because they don't have enough money to keep servers up and this all happened mostly due to them adopting ai like the ai rooms, and the roomie like I don't if they could just remove ai do you think it could be saved and especially if they had just listened to the players it could be saved.
#You think Rec Room could be saved if they just remove ai?

I mean even if they do they still have the worry about so much other expenses and they wouldn’t be able to keep up. It would take something massive to actually keep them going
I believe it
It would save them money aswell tbh
Yeah it really would but servers are so expensive I’ve heard and they arnt being very profitable
Well I think they should start by removing ai because it isn’t even needed
Very true
Honestly they should eliminate everything that’s costing them extremely and actually focus on making a playable game. They had the potential, they dug a hole by focusing away and doing random things we didn’t needed
I feel like I encounter too many bugs now
they need to go back to how the game was in 2022
It's more than just so that's the problem though. They didn't listen to the community enough and the shut down is the consequence. They started listening right as they were already on their death bed. I honestly think it's far too late.
I’d love that
We did NOT need to remove the og bean
And full body is cool ig but can we atleast lock in and fix the main game
Exactly, og bean, weekly, not continuing on golden trophy ECT... All those things slowly build up.
I feel they wanted to become big way to fast and they we doing all this to become big
Plus money hungry
I feel like that's what everybody wants and so do I it was like RR peak something about it was so nostalgic
it didnt have all the ugc clothing items so it looked more like recroom 😭 + it was so much more optimized
Exactly it was like the peak for recroom😭 but soon after that it started going downhill with all the ugc clothing and the ai stuff like the roomie
Rec Room couldn’t be saved, and that is the truth. Even if they removed all the AI features and fixed everything they had done, the damage is still there. Removing the cause of the damage is a good step, but it does not undo the damage or repair the trust that was lost in the community.
If I see a game on the verge of bankruptcy suddenly doing what the community asked years ago, it is clear it is not doing it for the players. It is doing it to save itself. I do not want to play a game that only acts for its own survival. I want to play a game that does things for the community, not for itself. I think that applies for everyone almost.
