#Why Do Most People Hate Militaries and what's the fix?

See i dont get the massive hate entirely for rec room militaries, to a degree i mean, my problem is that there are so many trash low effort cash grabs that are copy and pasted, but have any of you ever seen the ones out there that are worth your time? i mean i was apart of militaires that had lore, bossfights, coordinated operations and even like a full custom soundtrack, so i like dont get it...cmon someone have a chat with me

some militaries like train people in pvp but like this is like the blind leading the blind most people in militaries arent great pvpers

There are some aspects I'm a fan of. If there's lore, a story... it might be a fun thing to occasionally partake in. The problem lies with people who are power hungry, children who shouldn't be in that kind of environment, and things like that. I joined a military my friend made just for the fun of it a year or so ago and I left because they were so twitchy. I pointed my gun at the owner one time and they threatened to not just ban me but ban my friend who was supposed to be training me as well. I hate people like that

I think it makes a lot of people really egotistical because they're a high rank, like there was an E5 telling me to do everything he said because he was 2 ranks higher than me, mate. What. You're like 5 years younger than me and talking down to me like an adult to a toddler. Cmon guy.

It's not always the military itself, but the people running it. From the excessive mod abuse (in and out of the military RPs), the hunger for power in Rec Room, all the way to the highest in command having a background that could literally have them arrested (and Rec Room does nothing about it because they make money off of them), it's just not worth getting yourself involved. The solution would be to remove the bad ones and leave the good ones in; I'm sure militaries have a fair amount of popularity, they just have a bad reputation because of the people in control of them. It's like if Peter Pan and the Lost Boys are fighting other Peter Pans and their Lost Boys. Too immature, too weird, and too prideful, like it's more than just their duty, it's their life story. Like open your eyes, this is a videogame.

these people are so stiff aswell, they cant understand jokes, when someone 1 or 2 ranks higher tells me to go do something thats THEIR job really, im not gonna do it, bc your ordering me to, not asking. buddy shut your yap and go play outside.

people hate them because they cant find non military events

and they insta ban you when you try to take over or bc they get annoyed because your a good hider and pvp when you get a gun

most of them are cash grabs they have raid guns that you can get you banned if you use them to raid
