my @username change

hi so this past november i changed my username to @vkeigrl, and i’ve only now discovered “vkei” has a lot of controversy and offensive topics surrounding it, e.g. they have been own to incorporate the n^zi symbol into their fashion & on stage presence also including other offensive things. some bands are also known to be highly mis^gynistic.

finding out about these things i wanted to change my username as i dont want to be associated with the word. so i tried to send in a support ticket for a potential name change. & the following button is greyed out im not really sure of what to do. does anyone know a way around this? or if could i contact someone directly about the matter? and how?

Usernames can only be changed per 180 days/6 months

Afaik it hasn't been 6 months? Idk if thats the issue

I'd recommend saying in your bio "My name is NOT meant as any controversial topics. Please do not take it in the wrong way."

i know that, i just wanted to see if rec room had a work around whether i could contact them and explain it sadly it doesn’t seem like i can

I understand that, but until you get the ability to change it, you might have to put that in your bio
